They didn't ask me for any sort of proof of purchase, they seen that I had it already. Maybe call again and get a different person. Damn for real? I had no issues whatsoever. Therefore support said they couldn't validate that I purchased the game and told me to go pound sand. I supplied the Digital Receipt Steam gave me for purchasing the game (as that's saved on my account) but since I purchased this game way back in 2012 I couldn't provide the confirmation email steam support sends. Originally posted by Ironclad Mayfair:I actually tried this, support asked for proof of purchase. They are diligently working with the Development Team to fix this issue." Good thing is that this has been brought into the notice of the Game Team and Teams have confirmed there is some issue from the server-side. "There is some issue going on the Steam server where many players are not able to access Dead Space 2 on Steam Platform. Which isnt really a problem since it was already using it anyway. The game will no longer launch through steam (until this issue is fixed on their/Steams end) so you just have to launch directly through Origin now. This was resolved and works fine for me now. Then reinstall, and launch through Origin. YOU MUST UNINSTALL THE OLD ONE from Steam and Origin. Support will give you a new version of the game. Submit a ticket about the "Activation Wizard Invalid Code" But my issue was resolved in like 20 minutes. For some reason the old (in my case 7 year old) serial key that Steam auto applies no longer works. I believe its not working because of the implementation of EA Play.
